Current Status

The City has secured a grant from HSEM for the purchase of a shelter trailer to more rapidly set up the emergency shelter. In addition, we have secured funds for a pet shelter for those individuals with pets that are forced to evacuate their homes.

Current Status

The Fire Department is determining the cost of contracting with a consultant to develop both plans. The FD will submit an application by the end of Q4 2025 through the Emergency Management Planning Grant program administered by NH HSEM.
