Have additional Officers in locations that are at risk for shoplifting and other retail crime by increasing our foot patrols of these areas by 5%. In 2024, foot patrols increased by 7.6%. In 2023, there were 710 foot patrols and in 2024, there were 764 foot patrols.

There have been significant increases in Foot Patrols in problem areas in the City, as well as an increase in patrols during the Holiday Season.
