Continue the development of the Lebanon Early Childhood Education Facility to provide services to the region. Focus on low/mod income parents, non-traditional hours, competitive wages and benefits for childcare workers, teaching facility for staff, focus on infant care with the Boys and Girls Club of Central NH.

Project development team creating the conceptual plan started in February of 2023. Proposal approved by the City Council in December of 2023. The City received a Congressionally Directed Spending Grant from Congresswoman Kuster's office in the amount of just over $1.6 million. Today the remaining funds needed to construct the facility have not materialized from donations. CDBG and CDFA Tax Credits can only be applied for when the donated funds are committed. There still remains a gap of $19 million needed for the project.
