Current Status
Planning Board substantially rewrote its Rules of Procedure in 2025 to help ensure the fair and efficient review of applications, requests, and appeals, and to meet the requirements of state law and satisfy considerations of due process. Planning Board is reviewing the Site Plan Review Regulations and Subdivision Regulations, and updating its forms and checklists to yield clarity and complete applications for the Board's consideration. Regulatory Boards to continue to be supported by Legal Counsel and Staff during the consideration of complex and / or controversial applications. Decisions on applications and appeal to be supported with high quality, regulation-based, and evidence supported approvals (or denials).
