7.1.1 Partner with Advance Transit to expand existing routes, add weekend service and micro-transit service.
Key Performance Indicators
Expand service to the Rt. 12A area on Saturdays and into the evening hours during the week for shoppers and workers.
Advocate for Advance Transit to conduct micro-transit pilot project to test feasibility. Work with AT to obtain grant funding for the micro-transit feasibility project.
Support City representation on Advance Transit Board
7.1.2 Support the transition of public and semi-public fleets (including school buses, senior center buses, etc.) to EVs.
Key Performance Indicators
Reach out to School Board, SAU Staff, and Advance Transit to offer support and expertise to assist this transition and look for areas for mutual collaboration.
