Quarterly decompression meetings have been made available to all staff members, as well as training with our mental health provider team.

Current Status
All employees completed annual NFPA 1582 physicals to include high risk cancer screenings. All members attend annual mental health check-ins as well as quarterly training from our mental health team. We have an active peer support team who is available to all city departments.

Current Status

All Police employees have access to our department’s wellness and peer support team which is comprised of 11 certified peer support staff members who meet quarterly. LPD peer support program is fully operational and being utilized by its staff members.
