Advocate for municipal interests by monitoring proposed legislation and administrative rules at the state and federal levels. Focus on supporting initiatives beneficial to the city while addressing those with potential negative impacts. Collaborate with the City Council, the City Manager, and other stakeholders to ensure the city's needs and priorities are represented effectively.

City Manager seeks funding for various munipal projects at the State and Federal level.
Review NHMA Policy Positions with the CC and advocate at the 2024 NHMA Policy Conference for those positions approved by the CC.
Annually monitor proposed legislation and administrative rules that are supportive of the City and those that may have a negative impact on the City and advocate appropriately.
